Arsenal star Bukayo Saka met with Arsenal fans in Lagos, where he revealed his heritage in Nigeria, Pulse Sports Nigeria confirmed.
Saka, an international football player for England of Nigerian heritage, has received a rousing welcome since he landed at Lagos' Murtala Muhammed International Airport on May 31, 2023.
The 21-year-old forward has visited Bariga and other parts of Lagos since his arrival.
Pulse Sports Nigeria's correspondent gathered that he had a one-on-one chat with some Arsenal fans in Lagos on Saturday.

The Premier League said that he is very proud of his heritage in Nigeria, adding that he hails from Ijebu Ode in Ogun state.
He also stated that he remains connected to his root by eating Nigerian foods in England.
He said, “I’m from Ijebu-Ode in Ogun State and we’ll connected with my background here.
“Despite being in England, I still eat the foods from here (pounded yam ane egusi soup). It feels good to be here, I feel safe and happy to be back here.”
Earlier on Saturday, Saka met with the governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu at Lagos House, Marina where the Arsenal star gifted him a signed Jersey.
He told fans that Arsenal is ready for next season as they will return to the UEFA Champions League.
Arsenal ’s last appearance in the Champions League was during the 2016/17 season, in what was their 17th consecutive campaign in the tournament and seventh in a row that they had exited at the round of 16 stage.
