Boniface fights Super Eagles-eligible star for Bundesliga award

Nigeria’s and Bayer Leverkusen striker Victor Boniface has been nominated for another Bundesliga award in Germany.

Pulse Sports Nigeria reports that Boniface is currently injured but could be set for another award following his nomination for best skill of the season.

According to the Bundesliga, fans will have to decide which player has served the best skill in the league so far this season.

Nigeria’s Boniface has had a sensational start to life at the BayArena with Bayer Leverkusen following his move from Union Saint-Gilliose.

The 23-year-old’s impressive form has seen him score 10 goals and assisted seven more to fire Xavi Alonso’s men to the top of the Bundesliga table.

Boniface has won four consecutive Rookie of the Month awards and could add to his collections following another nomination.

The Super Eagles striker has been listed amongst the top five for his trademark skill against high-flying RB Leipzig earlier in the season.

Per the Bundesliga website, the talented striker has scored through the school of slick skills.

The Super Eagles forward will have to face stiff competition from a star-studded lineup that includes Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho, who is on loan from Premier League giants, Manchester United.

Also on the shortlist is Super Eagles-eligible star, Felix Nmecha, another player from Dortmund.
