Best finisher in Europe — Obafemi Martins backs Osimhen to shine at Manchester United

The transfer window continues to buzz with speculation surrounding Victor Osimhen, and Manchester United are the latest club to express interest in the Super Eagles forward.

Osimhen is undoubtedly one of Europe's hottest attackers and his addition will elevate any side.

Super Eagles legend Obafemi Martins, who starred for Newcastle, believes Osimhen would be a game-changer for Manchester United.

Martins spoke to AfricaFoot about Osimhen's potential impact, saying:

"If he comes into this team, everything changes, especially in terms of the way they score goals.

"He has speed and power, but also finishing. He is one of the best finishers in Europe, and he has proven it in successive seasons."

Osimhen has been impressive while on loan at Turkish giants Galatasaray, scoring 13 goals in 16 appearances, and with his chapter at Napoli seemingly closed, the expectation is a move to England.

Martins is confident that Osimhen will bring a transformative effect to Ruben Amorim's side, offering an upgrade on the likes of Joshua Zirkzee and Rasmus Hojlund, who have struggled.
