Atletico Madrid: Super Falcons star Rasheedat Ajibade models new kits for 2024/25 season

Super Falcons of Nigeria forward Rasheedat Ajibade joined Atletico Madrid superstars like Antoine Griezmann and captain of the men’s team Koké, to model the club’s new home kit for the new 2024/25 season.

Atleti’s new kits have seen return of the iconic club crest launched in 1947.

The new Home jersey for the 2024/25 season pays tribute to a legendary moment in the history of the Colchoneros. - the 1995/96 season when the team won a Double by winning LaLiga and the Copa Del Rey.

The new jersey also mixes tradition and modernity thanks to the new Nike collar - in blue - and the innovative red and blue lines that run vertically across the jersey, departing from those presented in previous seasons.

Ajibade is expected to star for Atleti Femeni in attack next season.

But first the 24-year-old Nigeria forward will look to lead the Super Falcons in their quest for Olympics glory when the tournament kicks off in Paris on July 26, beginning with their opening group game against Brazil at the Bordeaux stadium a day earlier.
