The 28-year-old Nigeria international who currently plays for Barca Femeni is one of the most decorated African female footballers of all time, having trophies at club and national level.

Oshoala is a five-time CAF Women’s Player of the Year and is touted to pick up the going for a sixth time at this year’s awards night slated to take place in Morocco on December 11.

Oshoala is also one of the Top 10 most-followed female footballers at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.

The former Liverpool forward is expected to return for the Falcons in their final Group B match against Ireland on Monday, July 11, 2023 at the Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane, Australia.
