Vitor Pereira’s side are the only team yet to get a win in the Premier League this season and are currently last on the table.
They were close to claiming their first win of the season, but a late goal from Brighton denied them the victory and they could only settle for a 1-1 draw.
As it happened
Jackson Tchatchoua replaced Matt Doherty at right back in the only change made by Pereira, while Super Eagles star Tolu Arokodare was left on the bench for the second time.
Danny Welbeck, who had a brilliant game against Chelsea, made the starting line-up, with Brajan Gruda and Mats Wieffe.
The home team took advantage of the first 21 minutes of the first half, scoring the first goal. Marshall Munetsi hit a thunderous strike, which Bart Verbruggen pushed to the bar, but unfortunately, the ball bounced off his back and into the net.
In the second half, Brighton tried to hold on to their lead but were heartbroken late in the game.
Nigerian international Arokodare was later brought in as a substitute in the second half, but had little impact in the game.
As the game got close to full-time, Brighton snatched an equaliser with five minutes to go as Jan Paul van Hecke superbly headed home following a quickly taken set-piece.
The draw leaves Wolves in 20th position on the Premier League table and still without a win this season.
