Anthony Joshua: Driver charged to court for causing death, driving without license
Anthony Joshua's driver has been charged in court by a Sagamu magisterate court for the role he played in the accidents which led to the deaths of Kevin Latif Ayodele and Sina Ghami.
The driver, Adeniyi Mobolaji Kayode, a 46-year-old man, has been arraigned in court on four charges following the accident on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway, which led to the deaths of two members of Joshua's team.

Mr Mobolaji Kayode drove the Lexus SUV carrying Joshua, with licence plate KRD 850 HN, which rear-ended a stationary truck on Monday, December 29, 2025, on the Lagos-Ibadan motorway, Makun area, Ogun State.
The accident claimed two lives: Latif, Joshua’s personal trainer, and Sina, his strength and conditioning coach, who were in Nigeria to celebrate the festivities with him at his family home in Sagamu.
FRSC’s official statement cited overspeeding and an illegal manoeuvre as the causes of the accident. And according to the BBC, Kayode, the driver, has now been charged in court.
He was charged on Friday at a Sagamu magistrate's court for four counts, which included causing death by dangerous driving, reckless and negligent driving, driving without due care, and driving without a valid driver's licence.
The case has been adjourned until January 20th. Meanwhile, he has been granted bail in the sum of ₦5,000,000 (five million naira). He remains remanded until the conditions of his bail are met, according to the report.
