Another day, Another defeat! Amorim's Manchester United dragged into relegation battle after loss to Spurs

James Maddison scored an early goal to give Tottenham Hotspur all 3 points against Manchester United.

Maddison opened the scoring in the 13th minute after Andre Onana parried a shot from Lucas Bergvall into a dangerous area.

The 28-year-old was first to react and slotted home the ball for the opener and only goal of the game.

Joshua Zirkzee and Alejandro Garnacho had moments to score, but again it was a disappointing attacking performance as Amorim's men looked as toothless as ever.

Spurs held on for the win, and pushed Manchester United down into 15th position.
