After delivering a stunning strike in Al Nassr’s 2-1 preseason win over Toulouse, Cristiano Ronaldo took to his social media to remind fans that his competitive fire still burns strong.

Pulse Sports Nigeria reports that Ronaldo and his Al Nassr teammate played their first preseason as preparations for the new season got underway on Wednesday evening.

Ronaldo recently a billionaire started the encounter alongside former Liverpool man Sadio Mane, new signing from Chelsea, Joao Felix and Gabriel for the Saudi side.

However, it was the French team who took a shock lead when Gboho fired Toulouse ahead after just 25 minutes. Their lead lasted only eight minutes before Al Nassr equalised.

The goal came in the 33rd minute, a clinical finish set up by Wesley, which brought Al Nassr level after Toulouse had taken the lead. 

Al Nassr would go on and win the game when 24-year-old Mohammed Maran came off the bench to fire the Saudi side ahead with 13 minutes to go.

Sharing a message of determination and hunger after the game, Ronaldo wrote: “The hunger never fades. Still work to do and we’re just getting started.”

Ronaldo’s message reflects his mindset at 40 years old, relentless, motivated, and ready to keep pushing as the Saudi giants prepare for the new season.

Through his post, Ronaldo communicates more than just a goal celebration; it’s a promise to supporters that his drive and ambition remain undiminished, signaling bigger things to come for both himself and Al Nassr.

Last season, while Al Nassr failed in their quest to win the Pro League, Ronaldo finished as top scorer with 25 goals and three assists in 30 matches.
