76ers tell Harden to stay home ahead of season opener against Giannis Antetokounmpo's Bucks
James Harden will not be in action when the Philadelphia 76ers take on the Milwaukee Bucks in their season opener.

Harden, who has been doing his best to get a trade out of Philadelphia, — did not play in the preseason and missed practice last week due to a "personal matter".

He eventually joined up with the team on Wednesday but has been told, he will not be allowed to travel to Milwaukee to face the Bucks.

Sixers coach Nick Nurse confirmed Harden had arrived but is not part of team preparation for the Milwaukee game.

The opening matchup pits NBA MVP and two-time scoring champion Joel Embiid against Milwaukee’s two-time NBA MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo.
