On Saturday in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou will square off against WBC and lineal heavyweight champion Tyson Fury in a non-title exhibition fight.

Manchester and England's Fury is fresh off two stoppage wins: a 10th-round TKO over Derek Chisora in December 2022 and a sixth-round TKO over Dillian Whyte in April 2022.

Unified heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk was supposed to challenge Fury for the undisputed heavyweight title, but after negotiations to seal the deal broke down in March, Fury turned his attention to Ngannou.

The fight is expected to take place in a traditional boxing ring, with three ringside judges applying the 10-point mandatory system.

A year later, he signed a contract with the PFL that included boxing.

This will be the first boxing match for former UFC heavyweight champion Ngannou, and he's up against WBC heavyweight champion and undefeated lineal Fury, who is widely regarded as the greatest in his weight class.
