That 100K dollars will finish - Nigerian TikToker Peller blasts Oshoala and Super Falcons after winning WAFCON
Super Falcons of Nigeria are still riding the high of their historic 10th Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) title, a victory that has rightly been celebrated across the nation.
However, a cloud of controversy has emerged, courtesy of a viral live stream by popular Nigerian TikToker Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as ‘Peller’.
The 20-year-old content creator, who boasts a staggering 11.7 million followers, has publicly put the newly-crowned African champions on blast for allegedly ignoring him since their momentous win.
What’s the gossip?
In a clip that has since circulated widely on social media, Peller expressed his profound disappointment, claiming that he had previously helped some members of the squad build their social media following through his massive platform.
In his live broadcast, Peller didn’t hold back as he singled out six-time African women’s player of the year Asisat Oshoala, whom he said had been unresponsive.
He said: ‘You can see, I texted Asisat (Oshoala) since last two weeks, she neva reply o. Dem don give dem 100,000 dollars. All the girls [Nigerian footballers], dem no reply me. Leave dem, if e finish, anybody that text me, I no reply them. Me, I go pride up.No worry. $100,000 is making you feel like angel that is flying.’
Aunty Asisat Oshoala and her colleagues don’t reply my messages anymore because they won $100k, their money will soon finish, they’ll text me and I won’t reply. Even Deborah Abiodun that I once helped on TikTok don’t reply my text again — Peller pic.twitter.com/xw7j6DNqRH

His impassioned speech has created a major stir, with fans and commentators divided over the TikToker’s claims.
Allegations of being 'Used' and the unanswered messages
Peller’s rant went into detail about his frustration, focusing on unanswered messages and broken promises.
The TikToker, who is known for his comedic personality, also alleged that he had been in conversation with the team about collaborating with them in Morocco and that a post-victory stream had been promised.
‘Since dem win like dis, wey I talk say congratulations to us, that Super Falcons pesin no reply me again. Me I no know maybe, If dem loose, na why una wan carry me go der, say make I dey do cheerleader, make i dey cheer dem up.
'Because now, when dem win, congratulations? No reply, when are we doing the stream? No reply. I even do voice note, wey I vex reach. It’s not good please. stop that. Life no be so!! Dem don use me, dem don use me,' he lamented.
The "$100K will finish" remark and Super Falcons’ silence
Perhaps the most controversial part of Peller’s unfiltered rant was his comment on the team’s monetary rewards.
The Super Falcons were each awarded $100,000 by the President Tinubu, following their victory, and the TikToker appeared to repeatedly suggest that this money would be spent quickly.
This particular remark has been met with significant backlash, with many viewing it as a deeply disrespectful comment towards the athletes.
So far, the Super Falcons, including Asisat Oshoala, have maintained a dignified silence on the matter.
No one from the team has publicly responded to Peller's allegations, and their focus remains firmly on their historic achievement.
