EFL Nigeria-eligible star Chuba Akpom wins Championship player of the month
The ex-Arsenal star has been rewarded for his performances for Middlesbrough in December.
Akpom was accompanied to the PFA Award event by a lady in a red dress.
Following the accomplishment, the 27-year-old took to social media to celebrate the PFA Championship Player of the Year Award
Along with a photo was a message that said, "Extremely grateful for this award.

Akpom is not the first player to recognize spirituality and God in his accomplishments.

Super Eagles of Nigeria star Alex Iwobi joined in the celebration.

The Everton midfielder wrote, "Deserved!!"

Iwobi and Akpom have a history together as they both played for the Arsenal Academy and First Team.
Ajax paid a transfer price of €12.3 million to bring Akpom to Amsterdam before the 2023–24 season in recognition of the striker's accomplishments
Akpom, now with a Champions League team in Ajax, will now have the opportunity to team up with Iwobi on the Super Eagles ahead of the 2024 Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.
