Hiba Abouk, the estranged wife of Achraf Hakimi has finally spoken out amid the trending reports surrounding her divorce from the PSG star.

Hiba Abouk’s marriage to Achraf Hakimi has made the headlines over their imminent divorce.

The couple who tied the knot in 2020 are calling it quits amid Achraf Hakimi’s rape charge.

Hakimi is charged with rape having been accused of sexually assaulting a 24-year-old lady in his home in Boulogne, Paris, as first reported by Le Parisien.

However, Hakimi’s relationship with Hiba Abouk made ut to the headlines last week over a report that had since gone viral.

Hiba Abouk, 36, who has since been pushing for a separation for the star was reportedly astounded having allegedly failed to secure any part of the Morrocan’s wealth.

On Friday, April 14, an unconfirmed report revealed that Hakimi’s estranged wife Hiba Abouk will not be able to keep any of his money after it was revealed in the court hearing that the Morocco international already registered all his assets to his mother’s name (Sadia Mouth).

However, Pulse Sports cannot verify the authenticity of this claim as neither Hakimi nor his wife, Hiba confirmed the report.

Hiba Abouk finally opens up why she is divorcing Achraf Hakimi

Following the win recent report surrounding Hiba Abouk’s divorce from Hakimi, the 36-year-old Spanish-Tunisian actress has finally opened up on her separation from the Paris Saint Germain wingback.

Abouk who is the cover star of the May Edition of Spanish lifestyle magazine, Elle Spain, revealed in an exclusive interview about her challenges as she looks to complete her divorce from Achraf Hakimi.

According to Abouk, who has already branded her marriage as a ‘failed project’, she understands that divorce is never an easy process.

 "There are days when it is like that, and others in which you have to know how to fit the blows and make decisions, sometimes complicated, get used to new situations ... And that can unbalance you a bit, " she tells Elle Magazine.

“For me the most important thing is the health of my children and everything else, really, takes a back seat," she added.

Amid the reports of the Hakimi transferring his wealth to his mother’s name in the wake of the divorce proceedings, Abouk explains what the divorce from Achraf Hakimi means to her.

 "I've always been a fighter," she says.

 "I left home with one hand in front and one behind. Without the support of my family. But I had to, because my environment was not going to allow me to grow or be free. It was either my life or theirs, and I decided to fight for myself.

 "When you separate, you restructure your life, but it is also nothing special: you have to remove iron from the matter.”

Abouk also spoke about her two children Amín (3) and Naim (1) amid her imminent divorce from the  24-year-old Morocco international, while explaining that she has tried everything to make it work with Hakimi.

“It is true that, with two children, emotionally it is complicated, but I am not the first nor will I be the last. 

“The important thing is that I have the peace of mind of having tried and done everything I had to do, " she says. 

"There are decisions that cannot be made overnight. For me it is a premise not to rush into moments of crisis. Things have to be done from calm and from love."

You marry for Love and divorce for heartbreak

In the interview with Elle, Abouk also revealed that her sons, Amín and Naím remind her that love was there before amid the fallout with Hakimi.

 "In life there are many good moments and also bad ones. You marry for love and divorce for heartbreak.

“People evolve, change, grow and take a path sometimes and there may also be a point where you stop finding yourself. And when that happens there's nothing to force." she said.

The Spanish actress also opened up on resilience and how much it means to her, while outlining her priorities.

“My priority is not my profession, it is my small family, they are my children, and my happiness is first to be with them and see them grow instead of going to shoot six months away. And nothing happens," she said.

“I've worked on a thousand things and I know what it's like to have nothing. Now I live comfortably, but I have zero attachment to the material. 

“I do not forget where I was 15 years ago, sharing a room of two square meters, with three jobs a day, studying, sleeping little ... Life is worth enjoying around the people you love and it's a shame to realize this late," she said.

Hakimi’s mother Sadia Mouth eager to see the PSG star finalize divorce from Hiba Abouk

Meanwhile, Pulse Sports reported that Achraf Hakimi’s mother Sadia Mouth recently responded to the rumours surrounding the PSG star’s divorce from Hiba Abouk.

In response to recent rumors that Hakimi's fortune had been transferred into her name, Achraf Hakimi's mother, Saida Mouth, said that she was not aware of any such transfer but also emphasized that if her son had not done it, he would be unable to get rid of his wife and mother of her grandchildren, Hiba Abouk.

Mouth told Moroccan media exclusively that Hakimi had not disclosed anything to her about the situation, and that “If he has taken any action to protect himself, I'm unaware of it.”

Mouth also stated that Hakimi is yet to brief her on the ongoing situation following rumours that she was in custody of her son’s wealth.
