Lewis Hamilton has officially left Mercedes for Ferrari.
Formula 1 legend Lewis Hamilton, has officially swapped silver for scarlet, embarking on his Ferrari journey at the legendary Maranello factory.
Taking to Instagram to express his excitement, Hamilton shared:
“There are some days that you know you’ll remember forever and today, my first as a Ferrari driver, is one of those days.
"I’ve been lucky enough to have achieved things in my career I never thought possible, but part of me has always held on to that dream of racing in red. I couldn’t be happier to realise that dream today.”
Hamilton’s post exuded gratitude and excitement, marking the fulfilment of a lifelong dream.
After dominating in Mercedes colours for over a decade, the 38-year-old is gearing up for a fresh start with Ferrari—a move that has F1 fans buzzing.
Hamilton’s first day at Ferrari was nothing short of spectacular.
The seven-time world champion was introduced to key figures, including team boss Frédéric Vasseur and vice-chairman Piero Ferrari, and received a tour of the Fiorano test track.
