The 24-year-old Napoli star has been in blistering form for his Serie A club this season, as he continues to help lead the club to their first Scudetto since 1990.

At the same time, Osimhen has seen his fanbase on social media grow in recent months.

Osimhen is now the second most-followed Super Eagles player on Instagram.

As of March 27, the former Lille striker now has over 1.8 million followers, having seen his follower count increase by an impressive 400,000 in the last ten days.

Osimhen now moves up to second in the list of most followed Nigerian players on Instagram, surpassing the likes of Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa (1.5 million), and Super Eagles legend Mikel Obi (1.7 million).

Osimhen is now only second to Adana Demirspor forward Henry Onyekuru.

Pulse Sports Nigeria recently reported the top 10 most followed Super Eagles players but now there appears to have been a change in the rankings.
