Leicester City have reportedly set their sights on a Nigerian attacker ahead of the January transfer deadline.
Ajax forward Chuba Akpom is reportedly attracting strong interest from Premier League side Leicester City.
According to De Telegraaf, Akpom is available for loan, and negotiations could be concluded before the end of the current transfer window.
The 29-year-old had reportedly received a loan offer from Sunderland earlier this month, but declined the opportunity to play in the Championship, preferring to test himself in the Premier League or one of Europe's top five leagues.

Akpom joined Ajax in 2023 and has consistently demonstrated his goal-scoring abilities, despite not always being the first choice.
Last season, he scored 15 goals in 39 appearances, mostly as a substitute, and has added 7 goals to his tally this season.

Enzo Maresca is looking for ways to rescue Chelsea's season after their disappointing defeat to Manchester City at the weekend.
A move to Leicester City could provide Akpom with the opportunity to showcase his skills in the Premier League and potentially boost his chances of representing Nigeria under new coach Eric Chelle.
The former Middlesbrough man remains eligible to play for the Super Eagles, despite not having received a call-up yet.
