Osimhen explains celebration

Following his strike, the Nigerian international was ecstatic in his celebration, but his subsequent actions hinted at a deeper meaning.

The 26-year-old made a mock crying gesture, an action that raised question marks. When questioned about the celebration by inquisitive journalists after the match, Osimhen revealed that the gesture was, in fact, a deliberate rebuke aimed at those perpetuating false narratives about him.

"It was for those who were trying to create an agenda for me," Osimhen said, per ntvspor. "I'm not new where I come from. They make up a lot of stories to test you. I don't understand what they're trying to do. That kind of stuff doesn't affect me. It means they can keep crying for more.
