He said, “For me, it's a pleasure to play for Barcelona. There are many great players in the squad. I am very happy with my life in Barcelona and with the club.”

With Barcelona still managing financial constraints, Cancelo acknowledged that his current wages could be a stumbling block, but insisted he is willing to compromise.

He added, “The truth is that I would be willing to give up a significant amount of money. It hasn't been a problem for me, and it won't be a problem to stay here.”
