Galatasaray prepared for Osimhen
A major stumbling block in Osimhen's desired move to a top European club is his wage demands, as his request reportedly puts off Premier League clubs. However, the Cim-Bom are believed to have no qualms matching his wage demands, or at least getting close to it.
Outside of his wages, they also have to match his €75 million release clause but have reportedly begun negotiations with Napoli to structure the deal in a convenient way.
What Uzundurukan said
Given the capital-intensive nature of the deal, there have been claims that Osimhen would not continue at the club beyond his current loan contract. However, the A Spor commentator, Uzundurukan, said he confirmed from the president of Galatasaray, Dursun Ozbek, that the deal is still on.

He explained that the Cim-Bom hierarchy sees Osimhen's signing as an investment. First, they plan to fund the move with some of the money they hope to get from selling winger Baris Alper in the summer and are confident they will recoup their investment from ticket sales, merchandising, and competition winnings that would be made possible by Osimhen’s presence.
"All the claims made in Europe about Osimhen are stories. I talk to Dursun Özbek, I talk to the big shots of the community. Nobody says, 'Osimhen will not stay,” he said, per GsGazette.
"When Osimhen came here, he came from Italy as an outcast. He was shown love and respect and became attached to Galatasaray.
“Fenerbahçe fans also gave his own club a boost, but Mourinho ignored him. That's why Osimhen was very impressed by Galatasaray. Fenerbahçe will also try its luck. In return, I think the player will stay at Galatasaray.
“As long as this guy stays, the stands will bring income, jerseys will be sold. The boxes will be sold. You will win matches in the Champions League, you will be in the showcase.
“This is an investment. There is no problem with money. They sell jerseys for 6 thousand TL. They broke a record. As long as there is success. The fans will do what is necessary. Apart from this, there is an expectation of 35-40 million Euros from the sale of Barış Alper.”
