Whoscored stats highlight Super Eagles stars' standout domestic campaigns in Europe.

Victor Boniface, Victor Osimhen and Maduka Okoye have been identified as the highest-rated Super Eagles players in Europe.

Pulse Sports Nigeria can report that the trio ranked highest of Nigerians plying their trade in Europe's top five leagues this season, according to statistics from WhoScored.

Boniface Leads the Way as Super Eagles best

The standout performer has been Bayer Leverkusen forward Boniface, who incredibly tops the charts with an exceptional rating of 7.81 despite missing several months through injury.

Before being sidelined in January, the 23-year-old had taken the Bundesliga and Europe by storm - scoring 16 goals and providing eight assists in just 23 appearances for record-breaking Leverkusen.

Osimhen Continues to Enhance Reputation

Not far behind Boniface is the prolific Victor Osimhen, with the red-hot Napoli striker earning a stellar 6.91 average rating in his latest outstanding campaign leading the line in Serie A.

The 24-year-old has maintained his stellar scoring form with 13 goals in 24 appearances across all competitions despite what has been a difficult season for Serie A champions Napoli.

Two of those goals for Osimhen came in the UEFA Champions League, where Napoli failed to reach the height of the previous season that saw them reach the last eight for the first time in their history.

Okoye Rewarded for Solid Showings

Rounding out the top three Nigerians is the often-overlooked Maduka Okoye, whose consistent performances for Udinese have seen him rated at 6.88 by the data analysts at WhoScored.

The Super Eagles outcast goalkeeper has kept three clean sheets in 12 Serie A outings this term for Udinese, seemingly catching the eye despite his continued international exile.

While Boniface's breakthrough and Osimhen's sustained excellence were somewhat expected, Okoye's high rating may be a surprise considering his lack of action for the national team.

The trio's strong showings underline the talent for Nigeria, Okoye in particular making a case for future call-ups with the Super Eagles if he can maintain his current form.
