Napoli are closing in on the loan signing of Rasmus Hojlund from Manchester United.
Hojlund, 22, was previously a target for AC Milan, but Napoli became the frontrunners after Romelu Lukaku was ruled out for up to four months.
The 22-year-old was signed by Manchester United for £64m, potentially rising to £72m, two years ago, and given his disappointing form last season, a full transfer always seemed unlikely.

Hojlund close to Napoli move
Napoli coach Antonio Conte has a long history of signing players from the Premier League. When he was coach of Inter Milan between 2019 and 2021, Lukaku, Alexis Sanchez, Ashley Young, Christian Eriksen, and Victor Moses all joined from English clubs.
United put Hojlund on the market following the signing of Benjamin Sesko from RB Leipzig in a £73.62 million deal in early August.
The Danish striker has been left out of the club's two Premier League games this season, and despite his desire to stay and compete for his spot, his departure is imminent.
Hojlund will now reunite with former teammate Scott McTominay and legendary midfielder Kevin De Bruyne, as they hope to form an exciting offensive combination that can help retain their league title and make a deep run in the Champions League.
