The Dutchman also recalled numerous other impactful games throughout the campaign, including comeback draws against Brighton and Fulham and an away win at Brentford, acknowledging a season filled with memorable events.

"We had a lot of great games, maybe, the 2-0 win against City at home which really, we already had a very good feeling, but maybe this gave us more confidence that we could do something special this season,” said Gakpo via the Liverpool Echo.
“I think that was a special moment. We had many special moments. We had many special comebacks, comebacks against Brighton at home, with 10 men we drew with Fulham at home which was a great game. 2-0 win Brentford away, I can name all the games. We had a lot of beautiful moments."
