£30m release clause now active as Chelsea, Man Utd battle for Osimhen alternative
Ipswich Town's relegation has sparked interest in their top scorer, Liam Delap, with Premier League giants keen on the 22-year-old.
After impressing in his first season, scoring 12 goals and standing out on numerous occasions, the league's best clubs are ready to pounce.
Delap's price tag has dropped to £30m due to Ipswich's relegation, making him an attractive prospect.
Manchester United and Chelsea, both in need of a new striker, reportedly view Delap as a viable alternative to Victor Osimhen, whose hefty transfer fee and wage package has deterred both clubs.

Delap's Premier League experience, height, power, and goalscoring ability make him an appealing option, particularly for United's Ruben Amorim, who successfully transformed Viktor Gyokeres into a superstar and has failed to get anything out of the club's two strikers, Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee.
As for Chelsea, they are never shy in entering the market and are expected to offload Christopher Nkunku this summer as they search for someone to share Nicolas Jackson's workload.
