Osimhen on the verge of Napoli exit

Osimhen has reportedly become unsettled at Napoli after the Nigerian reportedly halted contract talks with the Partenopei, leading to speculation that he could be on his way out of the club.

The Nigerian forward was involved in a recent drama with the club after an unflattering TikTok video depicting Osimhen caused a furore on social media and led to further speculation that the Super Eagles striker could be set to leave the Partenopei.

Liverpool’s reported interest in Osimhen, amidst his refusal to sign a new deal with Napoli, has led many to believe that an exit for the 24-year-old striker is near.

Osimhen’s agent to agree Super Eagles star’s future

With Osimhen’s immediate future apparently in the air, his agent, Calenda, has met with Napoli directors Maurizio Micheli and Mauro Meluso to agree on the Super Eagles forward’s potential new deal or an exit from the club.

Scouts from Premier League side Liverpool were present to watch Osimhen during Nigeria’s match against Saudi Arabia, but sadly, the Napoli forward suffered an injury during the match that forced him to retire from the match early.
