Galatasaray have been inconsistent lately and risk losing their hold at the top of the league table to the rampaging Fenerbahce, only four points behind.
With little margin for error ahead of the game against Alyanspor, Ece expressed his confidence in a Galatasaray victory but stressed that the outcome is contingent on Osimhen performing. He went on to predict that the Nigerian would score twice to lead the Cim-Bom to victory.
"If Galatasaray is successful, Osimhen will lead to success,” he said, per GsGazette. “I think he will score at least 2 goals against Alanyaspor. I hope Okan Hoca will give up on his mid-head football and use Osimhen more efficiently.
“Yes, there will be no Sivasspor away game, but we know how difficult Sami Uğurlu is for the big 3. Despite this, I still think Galatasaray will win. The players also like the Antalya camps the most. It is hot all year round. That's why the Galatasaray players went to camp before the match."
Osimhen is undoubtedly the talisman for the Turkish champions this season. His 16 goals so far is six better than the next best, Baris Alper Yilmaz. In the league, only Kristof Piatek (18) has outscored him. Osimhen matches the Pole in direct goal contributions (20).
