Osimhen and Delap lead Man Utd’s striker shortlist
Osimhen, on loan from Galatasaray, has found the back of the net 22 times in 26 league appearances (31 goals in 36 in all competitions), leading the goalscoring charts in the Turkish Super Lig.
Although Delap has not scored as many in the Premier League, the 12-goal top-flight return for the Ipswich man for relegated Ipswich has impressed pundits.

Speaking on Rio Ferdinand Presents, Crouch stated that Osimhen is his preference, pointing to the Nigerian’s superior experience and know-how at the highest level.

“The only difference is Osimhen has been doing it at a top level for a long time, and Delap's had one season in the Premier League,” said the former Liverpool forward.
“As much as I like him and think he’ll be a top player, if it’s one or the other, I think I’d personally pick Osimhen because he’s been there and done that, you know what you’re going to get.”
That sentiment was echoed by Rio Ferdinand, who agreed that Hojlund needs someone to learn from, not a competitor.
