Super Eagles star Victor Osimhen is reportedly close to sealing a mega deal to Al Hilal

After months of speculation, drama, and dead ends, Victor Osimhen is finally on the brink of a new adventure to the Saudi Pro League.

Napoli and Al Hilal have reportedly reached an agreement on the striker’s €75 million release clause, bringing to an end a long transfer saga and edging the Nigerian forward closer to footballing freedom he has craved.

Al Hilal concede to Napoli’s wishes

After sending Osimhen out on loan to Galatasaray last season due to a lack of suitors willing to meet their high asking price, the Italian club lowered his release clause to €75 million starting July 2025, but insisted they would not accept a single euro less.

That hardline stance initially left the deal hanging in limbo, with Al Hilal offering €70 million for the Nigerian striker.

However, reports now suggest that the Saudi club has caved and will meet Napoli’s full demand to secure Nigeria’s most valuable player.

He is reportedly set to earn between €30 million and €40 million per year, with bonuses potentially adding another €5 million.

With Simone Inzaghi, Al Hilal’s new coach, personally pushing for the move and the club eager to register him in time for the FIFA Club World Cup, all signs now point to a done deal.

Osimhen continued his fine form.

After scoring 37 goals and providing eight assists in just 41 games for Galatasaray, Osimhen is ready for a new chapter, which will certainly line his pockets up well.
