Victor Osimhen is set to leave Europe after accepting Al-Hilal’s offer, with only a €5 million gap remaining between Napoli and the Saudi club to finalize the transfer

Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen is on the verge of a high-profile move from Europe to Saudi Arabia after accepting a lucrative contract offer from Al-Hilal, the Saudi Pro League giants coached by Simone Inzaghi.

According to multiple reports, including transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, Osimhen has agreed on personal terms with Al-Hilal, marking a significant step toward ending his European adventure.

While Osimhen’s agreement with Al-Hilal is complete on the player’s side, negotiations between the clubs are still ongoing.

Napoli, Osimhen’s parent club, is holding out for a transfer fee of €75 million, while Al-Hilal’s current offer stands at €70 million.

The €5 million gap remains the final hurdle before the transfer can be officially sealed for the 26-year-old, who is Nigeria's most valuable player.

Al-Hilal is eager to finalise the deal quickly, aiming to register Osimhen in time for the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup.

The Saudi club has reportedly offered Osimhen a staggering annual salary, with figures ranging between €30 million and €40 million per year, far exceeding what he earned at Napoli and what other European suitors were willing to pay.

Osimhen’s move comes after a season spent on loan at Galatasaray, where he impressed with 37 goals in 43 appearances across competitions.

Despite previous links to Premier League clubs like Arsenal and Chelsea, no concrete offers materialised, paving the way for Al-Hilal to win the race for his signature.

With only the final agreement between Napoli and Al-Hilal pending, Osimhen’s switch to Saudi Arabia is expected to be completed soon, signalling the end of his time in European football and the beginning of a new chapter in the Middle East.
