‘Osimhen couldn't come back’ - Turkish pundit praises defender for caging Super Eagles star
Galatasaray played a 0-0 draw against Fenerbahce in their intercontinental derby clash as both teams faced each other in the race for the title.
Skriniar was challenged to handle Osimhen, and he excelled at it. He neutralised the Napoli loanee before being substituted in the 89th minute.
Osimhen was kept out of danger zones by the 30-year-old, who committed a team-high three fouls while making six clearances and one interception.

Skriniar has received praise for doing a remarkable job against Super Eagles star Osimhen, keeping him at bay.

“Osimhen couldn't come back. Osimhen played his least effective match in a Galatasaray jersey since he came. Because he couldn't get out."
The former Inter Milan defender joined Fenerbahce during the January transfer window and has hit the ground running for Jose Mourinho’s side.
The defender showed his experience against Osimhen, who has been Galatasaray’s best player this season.
The Nigerian international has scored 14 goals and provided four assists in 19 Super Lig games this season.
