'Long time coming' - Isak delighted to bag first Newcastle hat-trick

Alexander Isak was filled with pride after scoring his first hat-trick for Newcastle in the club's 4-0 win over Ipswich.

The Swedish striker opened the scoring after just 26 seconds and added two more goals, with Murphy assisting his third and also scoring Newcastle's second.

Isak was ecstatic after the game, saying:

"We've been playing so much better lately, and it has been showing in the results.

It's been a long time coming for Newcastle, my first one [hat-trick] here. I'm buzzing."

He emphasized the importance of scoring goals for his confidence and the team's performance:

"Just scoring goals will give confidence, and help me and the team. It doesn't matter if it's one, two or three."

Newcastle manager Eddie Howe praised Isak's performance, and the striker's hat-trick takes his league tally to 10 goals for the season.

The win moves Newcastle up to 7th place, just four points off the top four.
