Former Manchester United striker Odion Ighalo signs for his third consecutive Saudi Professional League club.

Nigerian striker Odion Ighalo has completed his signing for Saudi Arabian club Al-Wehda on a free transfer.

The 34-year-old forward had an incredible season with Al-Hilal in the Saudi Professional League last season, making the team of the season; however, he did not continue beyond that season, leaving him without a club.

The former Manchester United striker has since been without a club, but he has now put pen to paper with another Gulf club and will turn up for Al-Wehda next season.

Ighalo's Saudi League journey

The former Granada striker with a different team is set for his third stint at a Saudi Arabian club.

He first played in the league with Al-Shabab, and after an impressive goal-scoring campaign, he secured a move to one of the biggest clubs in the land, Al-Hilal.

Last season with Hilal, the striker scored 21 goals in all competitions, leading the Blue Waves to the finals of the AFC Champions League and Club World Cup.

He will now continue his exploits in the league, having the chance to extend his current over 50 goals tally.
