Huijsen maintained a serene demeanour, stating his intention to live his life and pursue his passion simply.

Huijsen on hefty price tag
Huijsen described Madrid as "the club of my life”, reflecting the centre-back’s mood after signing for Los Blancos.
“I don’t care,” Huijsen said at his presentation. “I’m quite calm. I am me and I am going to live my life and I do what I like most. Madrid is the club of my life.
“I wanted to be here from the first day; once Real Madrid called, I didn’t have eyes for any other teams.
“For me, Real Madrid is the best club in the world and there is no other club when they appear.”

The defender admitted his initial plan was to remain at Bournemouth for another season, but his rapid development, including a full Spain debut in March, accelerated his transfer.
