After spending the last month injured and fearing for his future at the club following the recent appointment of Sergio Conceicao, he made a huge step forward in impressing his new boss with a goal in extra time to earn the Rossoneri a 3-2 win over Parma.
AC Milan comeback to beat Parma
The Rossoneri fell behind to a shock Matteo Cancellieri goal after less than half an hour with the visitors taking the lead against the run of play.
AC Milan found an equaliser just before the break thanks to Christian Pulisic’s penalty and appeared set to see out a comfortable lead after an early set-back.
However, Parma had other plans and took the lead again, this time through Enrico del Prato in the 80th minute, who scored what many believed would be the winner.

However, super sub Chukwueze was on hand to deny Parma any points at the San Siro, and after Tijjani Reijnders equalised for AC Milan in added time, the Nigerian was on hand to secure all three points for the home side with a goal in the 95th minute of the game.
