Chelsea are reportedly eager to find a resolution with Manchester United over the sale of midfielder Mason Mount.
Manchester United have had three offers for Mount rejected by Chelsea, the third of which, was £50m plus £5m in add-ons.
The Blues set an asking price of £65m for the midfielder but senior figures at Old Trafford have indicated their reluctance to reach that figure and are happy to walk away from the deal.
Chelsea and Man United to find agreement for Mount
According to The Guardian, Chelsea, who are pressing on with plans to sign Moises Caicedo from Brighton, are now willing to sit down and find a resolution with Manchester United.
Mount’s contract expires next summer and he has indicated he will not sign an extension, which is why it makes sense for the club to sell now rather than losing him for nothing.
