Brazil's new coach, Carlo Ancelotti, discussed one of the most gifted talents at his disposal, Estevao.

New Brazil national team coach Carlo Ancelotti recently raved about the talents of Estevao after including the teenager in his first Selecao squad.

What Ancelotti said

The Palmeiras star has been one of the most talked about prospects in world football. Ancelotti admitted to only knowing the 18-year-old through videos but can already testify to his talent.

“Estevao, I already knew about. I hadn’t seen him in person, only through videos and on TV, but I see what everyone sees: that he is a player with an extraordinary, special talent, very young, and who still has things to learn,” Ancelotti said.

"Estevao is a talented player, humble, has drive and personality. He has immense creativity and a ton of qualities." He added, "Obviously, he has all the characteristics to be a very important player for the future of the national team.”

At just 17 years old, the winger has already emerged as one of the world's most exciting talents, thanks to his impressive stats in Brazil's Serie A.

He is often spoken about as one of the most promising players in world football, and NXGN’s list for Goal of the 50 best teenage prospects in football sees the Brazilian ranked at number two, only behind Lamine Yamal.
