Bright Osayi-Samuel assists Fenerbahce to run riot against Ahmed Musa's Sivasspor

Bright Osayi-Samuel and Fenerbahce enjoyed a smooth sail against Ahmed Musa's Sivasspor in the Super Lig.

Nigeria Super Eagles defender Bright Osayi-Samuel played a pivotal role as Fenerbahce dismantled Ahmed Musa’s Sivasspor in the Super Lig.

Fenerbahce returned to winning ways after a 4-1 demolition of Sivasspor, with Osayi-Samuel displaying his playmaking skill on Monday night.

Osayi-Samuel shines bright

In a dominant performance from the home side, former Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko stole the show with a fantastic brace, while former Ajax dazzler, Dusan Tadic provided a hattrick of assists.

The floodgate opened in the 17th minute when Sebastian Szymanski and Tadic combined to put the home side ahead.

And three minutes before the break, Osayi’s moment arrived as he set up Irfan Kahveci to double the advantage at the break. 

That assist was Osayi-Samuel’s first of the campaign, with the Super Eagles star playing for 83 minutes.

He created one chance, completed 80% of his passes, made seven recoveries and won 100% of his tackles, while his more illustrious compatriot, Musa, watched on from the bench from start to finish.

Sivasspor’s false hope

Meanwhile, Sivasspor pulled one back early in the second half to give themselves hope. But it turned out to be nothing but a consolation.

Two goals in seven minutes from Dzeko wrapped up the show and proceedings as Fenerbahce not only sealed all three points but returned to the top of the table.

Fenerbahce secured a convincing win, with Osayi-Samuel showcasing his playmaking abilities by contributing a key assist that played a crucial role in his team's dominating performance. 

The match, which unfolded with remarkable intensity, saw Fenerbahce running riot against Sivasspor, with the final score reflecting the home team's dominance.
