Fenerbahce midfielder Fred has channelled his inner Fabrizio Romano to confirm a transfer at his former club Manchester United

Fred has reportedly confirmed the transfer of Turkish goalkeeper Altay Bayindir to the English giant.

Bayindir is expected to be at Old Trafford as a replacement for Englishman, Dean Henderson, who is on his way to fellow Premier League side Crystal Palace.

Bayindir to United

United are expected to sign the 23-year-old who has reportedly completed a medical ahead of the move to Old Trafford.

Bayindir’s transfer from Fenerbahce will cost Manchester United around £4.3million once completed.

However, former Red, Fred seems to have let the cat out of the bag according to a report by the Sun.

The Brazilian reportedly wished his clubmate well and told him good things about his former club.

“I wished Altay good luck when he left,” Fred said. “He is going to join a great team. Altay will be very happy at Manchester United."

Fred joined Fenerbahce this summer after spending five years at Old Trafford. 

The 30-year-old has since made his debut for the Turkish side and impressed in his games so far.
