Manchester United could face competition from Atletico Madrid in their pursuit of Emiliano Martinez.
Emiliano Martinez is expected to leave Aston Villa this summer, and Manchester United have been plotting a move. However, they will now have to compete with one more suitor for his signature, as Atletico Madrid have entered the race.
The 32-year-old World Cup winner signed a contract extension until 2029 last year; however, he is believed to want a fresh challenge, and Aston Villa are open to selling him.

According to a recent report from the Telegraph, the Rojiblancos have taken a liking to Martinez and are now also weighing up a move.
While Oblak is in the same age range as Martinez, it is believed that he is also contemplating charting new territories. Per the report, should Oblak, who has received offers from multiple clubs, leave this summer, Atleti will make a move for Martinez.
