An appeal court in Abuja has sacked all members of the present NFF board in a recent ruling

In a significant ruling, the Appeal Court in Abuja delivered a verdict that has caused a major upheaval in Nigerian football.

The court, led by Justice Barika, along with Justices Okon Abang and Justice Banjoko, ordered the dismissal of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Board.

The Core Issue, legal Representation and Statements

According to Abuja Reporters, The primary reason for this decision was the alleged use of 'dubious' orders, acquired through 'deceit' on September 29, 2022, for conducting the NFF election on September 30th in Benin City, Edo State. The court’s ruling struck down all such orders and instructed their removal from all court systems immediately.
