Al Hilal vs Al Nassr: Ronaldo's Faris Najd suffer third straight defeat despite goal from Portuguese star

Cristiano Ronaldo opened the scoring on the day, but a red card plus lethargic defending from Al Nassr saw them suffer a 3–1 loss to Al Hilal.

Goals from Salem Al-Dawsari, Mohamed Kanno and Ruben Neves helped the Blue Waves to a massive victory in the context of the title race. They handed their closed rival, Al Nassr their third straight defeat, which meant the Faris Najd moved seven points adrift pole position.

Their continued poor form, which has condemned them to four matches without a win, has put a damper on their title ambitions after a fiery start, in which they were unbeaten for ten matches.
