Super Eagles star Victor Osimhen has lauded debutant Ryan Alebiosu following his performance against Uganda.

The Blackburn Rovers defender earned his first senior cap for Nigeria in the Group C match at the Complexe Sportif de Fès.

Osimhen praises Alebiosu
Speaking after the match, Osimhen praised Alebiosu's quality and the positive influence he has already had on the squad.
"He has been doing amazingly well even before joining the Super Eagles. In training, he showed that he is an exceptional player," the Galatasaray striker said.
Osimhen also commended the newcomer's fighting spirit, highlighting it as a reflection of the team's overall mentality.
"I want to wish him a quick recovery because he picked up a bad injury in the first half," Osimhen added. "He kept playing despite the pain, and I wish him all the best."
Nigeria's comfortable win secured their place in the Round of 16, maintaining a perfect record through the group stage.
