Tounekti speaks about Super Eagles
Tounekti acknowledged Nigeria's strengths but insisted the Carthage Eagles are prepared to assert their own title ambitions with another win.
"The expectation is really good. We are looking forward to a big game against a big nation," Tounekti commented.
"We all know that we're going to meet a team that is really good with players who play at the highest level. For us, it's all about making the game tomorrow a good one."
Tounekti downplayed any suggestion that the 2004 champions have a significant advantage over three-time winners Nigeria.
"I don't feel that," he stated. "I feel like it's two nations that are really good. If you take our team, I think we've been doing some good things for a while now.
“We only have to focus on tomorrow; it's going to be a hard game for sure. I think they are one of the teams that can win. So for us, if we win tomorrow, I think we make a statement that we are also here to compete."
