AC Milan's insensitive TikTok video of Samuel Chukwueze's injury angers fans and revives memories of the Victor Osimhen incident.

AC Milan have found themselves in the firing line from outraged fans on TikTok after a video mocking Nigerian winger Samuel Chukwueze reignited memories of Victor Osimhen's acrimonious Napoli episode last year.

The Serie A giants shared footage from their recent 3-3 draw with Genoa, zooming in on Chukwueze screaming in pain following a heavy challenge, with a child's crying sound effect overlaid.

The video did not go down well with sections of the fanbase, who slammed Milan's social media admin for perceived disrespect towards the 24-year-old in a similar vein to Napoli's infamous Osimhen TikTok last season.

That incident, where Napoli's admin appeared to mock Osimhen, was widely condemned and seen as a factor in the Nigerian striker's expected exit from the club.

Fearing history could repeat itself, supporters took to the comments section to voice their dismay at the latest video mocking Chukwueze.

"Napoli admin find a job at AC Milan?" one disgruntled fan questioned, while another ominously warned: "Admin bro Chukwueze gon leave like Osimhen."

Others aired concerns that the club's social media antics could potentially undermine Chukwueze's status, with comments like "Are u pushing Chukwueze to leave Milan?" and "nah that's wild Serie A admins."

The overall sense was that Serie A clubs need to exercise more care with player treatment on social platforms following the Osimhen fallout.

"What's up with all these Serie A TikTok club admins," one fan remarked, while another bluntly stated: "We all play too much but this isn't acceptable."

Milan have yet to address the backlash publicly, but the furore is a timely reminder of the importance of player welfare both on and off the pitch.

Chukwueze struggled for form initially but appears to have found some form in recent matches for the Rossoneri this season following his high-profile move from Villarreal.

The last thing Milan need is a fallout with their Nigerian star over perceived disrespect and racism that could jeopardize his future in similar circumstances to Osimhen's messy Napoli ordeal.
