The 2023 No. 1 overall draft pick Victor Wembanyama has reportedly been shut down for the remainder of the Summer League.

Wembanyama made his Spurs debut in front of a soldout crowd Friday and admitted he felt lost on the court after recording just 9 points.

He bounced back in his second effort, tallying 27 points and grabbing 12 rebounds in an 85-80 loss to Portland Trail Blazers.

Considering the fact that the NBA's latest superstar is just coming off a season in which he played 48 games in France, he likely made the right choice as he prepares for the NBA's long 82-game regular season.
