Super Eagles star and Fulham midfielder, Alex Iwobi, has found himself at the centre of another fiery social media spat, this time for clapping back at a troll who accused him of disrespecting Nigeria and his heritage.
The drama unfolded on Snapchat, where Iwobi, clearly irked by the verbal jab, issued a savage takedown.

It all started when an anonymous internet user attacked Iwobi, writing in a chaotic tirade:
“See the way you're insulting the country you say you're from… had it been England called you up you wouldn't be playing for Nigeria… you're acting as if your dad is from there because you where raise there stupid boy... no blame you sha na Nigeria government I blame…”

Not one to back down, Iwobi fired back with a line that hid harder than even his own bars: “OGA, GO & SIP ON SOME WATER, THEN BREATHE IN THROUGH YOUR NOSE & OUT THROUGH YOUR MOUTH.”

Despite the harsh critique, Iwobi used his platform to show love to his homeland.
In another post, he shared a calmer message from a supporter who resonated with his frustrations over fan entitlement.
Iwobi responded graciously, writing: “I love Nigeria & I am a proud Nigerian.”
