'Your one son is always here for you' - Usain Bolt pens beautiful birthday message to his mum

Sprint legend Usain Bolt celebrated his mum's 63rd birthday with a beautiful message and post shared on his social media platforms.

The world's fastest man in history took to his Instagram and X platforms, sharing a picture of his mum with the caption:

"Happy Birthday to my Mommy.. just know yuh one son is always here for you."

Mrs. Jennifer Bolt and her late husband, Wellesley, have often been credited with their son's career success, as they played vital roles throughout his high school years and took strict actions to keep him disciplined.

During a 2016 interview with CNN, Mrs Jennifer stated what it was like being mom to the world’s quickest man.

“It’s really, you know, a pleasure knowing that we have the fastest man as our son because we get to go out, we do lots of interviews, get to go places,” she said. “It’s really a pleasure. It’s happy and feeling good.”

On March 31, 2025, Bolt lost his dad at age 68, after a prolonged illness. He was finally laid to rest amid emotional scenes on May 4 in their hometown in Trelawny, Jamaica.
