Initially sidelined for up to three months due to a serious muscle injury, Ndidi's rapid recovery post-surgery has set the stage for an early comeback, possibly as soon as next month.

In a recent conversation on Sky Sports, per Lecester Mercury, during the Monday night game against Ipswich, Ndidi shared updates on his condition. "The injury's alright, I’m getting there. It’s two weeks post-surgery. Hopefully, in a couple of weeks, I’ll be back,” he stated.

This news comes as a relief to the team, particularly with the current midfield challenges faced by manager Enzo Maresca.

Midfield Challenges and Strategic Adjustments

Leicester City's midfield has been under strain with limited options. The team's ongoing pursuit of Inter Milan’s Stefano Sensi has yet to bear fruit.

Additionally, the recent recall of Cesare Casadei from his loan at Chelsea further complicates the scenario. Leicester boss Enzo Maresca confirmed the return of Casadei, alongside Diego Moreira from Lyon, to Stamford Bridge for the latter half of the Premier League season.

Speaking on the matter, Pochettino remarked, "They have good potential. They are going to be part of our squad." This decision comes in the wake of multiple injuries plaguing the team, necessitating the recall of players on loan.
