Liverpool lost ground in the title race after succumbing to a 1-0 defeat at home against Crystal Palace.
The Reds tasted defeat at home in the league for the first time in 28 games, compounding what has been a bad week for Jurgen Klopp.
This follows the 2-2 draw with Manchester United last weekend, and the 3-0 demolition suffered at the hands of Atalanta in the Europa League in mid-week.
Klopp unsure of Liverpool's title chances
Speaking after the game, Klopp, who cut a frustrated figure, shared his thoughts.
"The title race? the answer is pretty easy. If we play like that in the first half, why would we win the league?”.
