Why I snubbed other big clubs to join Chelsea — Estevao Willian opens up

Estevao Wilian has revealed why he chose the Blues over top clubs like Barcelona, Arsenal, and Real Madrid.

 The 18-year-old Brazilian winger was officially unveiled at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday evening, after joining from Palmeiras.

Despite interest from several elite clubs, Estevao opted for Chelsea due to their compelling vision and organization.

“Their plans, the structure and the club – everything,” Estevao said via Chelsea’s website.  

“But mainly the plans and the project the club has is what interested me and my family, and I think it was the best decision we could have made.”

 The young star, seen as one of Brazil’s brightest talents, also outlined his ambitions with the west London club. 

“[My long-term goals at Chelsea are] I want to win all the titles possible: the Premier League and the Champions League as well,” he added.  

Estevao’s arrival signals Chelsea’s intent to build a dynamic future around emerging stars, with the winger eager to make an immediate impact in the Premier League.
